i stayed in salo before but this time vigna went above and beyond. the personal service and attention to detail is superb. the breakfast on the balcony overlooking the lake was a highlight. loved the location - close to shops and restaurants but not too busy. the owners were so friendly and helpful.

The breakfast options are delightful, with a variety of fresh fruit, pastries, and cooked meats and cheeses.

The room wasn't as clean as expected, with dust on surfaces and stains on the carpet. The air conditioning unit was also very loud and kept us awake at night. the hotel needs updating and refreshing to match modern standards.

Nothing it was perfect.

The hotel's location is convenient for exploring the lake area, with easy access to Linate airport and other nearby villages. The Heller gardens in Gardone Riviera are a must-see. The rooms are spacious and well-appointed, with comfortable beds, temperature control, and good Wi-Fi. Breakfast offers a variety of delicious options.

The hotel's decor feels outdated and in need of refurbishment.

The lake view room was worth the extra cost. The staff was incredibly helpful and welcoming. The location was perfect for experiencing the local restaurants and cafes. It was nice to be only a short walk away from the beach and the beautiful views it offered. the boat trip we took to Simione was amazing, a must-do.

Honestly, there were no real negatives about the hotel or the experience. If I had to nitpick, it would be that the nearby bars could be a bit loud at night, but that's something to be expected when staying in such a great location.
